measure the process.
not the engineer.
WHO WE ARE
We are a boutique software management consultancy in Mumbai, India. We help growing startups iteratively improve by understanding how their processes affect engineers, rather than measuring engineers themselves.
We work closely with a small number of clients, take time to understand how they work, and stay with them as they change and grow.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We believe every growing startup should measure how their engineers experience the organization rather than putting them under the microscope. This helps startups preserve trust while improving in small, incremental steps.
READ THE WHITEPAPER →OUR RESEARCH
We publish our thinking on measuring and improving growing software organizations. Our research explores practical ways to understand how processes affect engineers and use those signals to improve the organization over time.
READ THE RESEARCH →HOW WE OPERATE
Measure
We begin by establishing a baseline for where the organization stands. This helps us understand how engineers experience the organization they work with.
Observe
We observe the trends in the underlying data. We look for signals that indicate where a particular aspect of the process may need improvement.
Diagnose & Intervene
We dig deeper and look for the causes that may lead to those signals. Once we have identified plausible causes, we suggest ways to mitigate them.
Re-Measure
We measure again to see how aspects of work have improved over time. We help create a loop where the organization improves iteratively over time.
